My first Gold and Silversmithing Class project.

The beginning stages of what will eventually be a beautiful hand made spoon. The First of many pieces that i will be creating within my course.

The making process is actually a lot longer then i could even have imagined, to even just get this piece of metal to this stage of juxtaposition it took almost 3 hours. Of course i will get faster as my skills and technique improve, but i will never look at a Spoon the same way again. So much time into one small object.
